Footprints left at Xiamen, Yangxi (Year 2007)

My first oversea trip without the supervision of my parents to China, Xiamen (Yangxi). It was a voluntary work to connect water pipes from the hill all the way down to a secondary school.
I took this when I was waiting for my teachers to buy the train tickets. Seems like a hard life, isn't it? All our bags cluttered together as we took turns to go for lunch.
Here's the train trip to Yangxi. Double beds, as you can see my friend's face on the right :PAnother section where my friends slept.
The school hostel we stayed for two weeks. The beds. There's eight beds in the room but since there were only four girls, we occupied the whole room to ourselves. The farm that we can see everywhere in the village.
The marketplace.Five ducks walking in line to... somewhere?
This was taken when we were walking up to the hill which we were supposed to connect the water pipes along the walkway. Anyway, there's an old woman carrying a heavy sack of things at the end of the road.
The well which we were supposed to connect from.
One cold morning at the school's entrance.
Such a cutie. The little girl on the left was the one who we went for two nights homestay.
She brought us to the strawberry farm near her house :D
Here's the strawberries.
And many more at the farmer's shop.
Walking along the strawberry farm, we saw an ox.
The little tour guides :)The home we stayed at.A night stay at a local hot spring houseLastly, leaving our footprints in the school.
